How to remove your Facebook data

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This policy applies to Social Media Manager and its Facebook Page management features.

Disconnect from Social Media Manager

Sign in to Social Media Manager, open Settings, select Facebook, and choose Disconnect beside the Facebook account you want to remove. This removes the local connection and its unshared local Page data.

Request deletion through Facebook

You can also remove the Social Media Manager app from Facebook. Meta will send us a signed data-deletion request automatically, and we will remove the matching local Facebook connection and related local data.

What is deleted

Deletion removes local Facebook account tokens, Page configuration, posts imported or created in the application, available Page analytics, automation settings, and generated files that belong only to that connection. We do not delete posts, Pages, or other content directly from Facebook.

Need help

If you cannot access your account, contact the administrator of the Social Media Manager instance you use and include the Facebook account or Page you want removed.
